Sangumburi is one of Jeju’s most popular tourist destinations and with good reason, as it is an extinct volcanic crater now filled with lush vegetation. Formed during Jeju’s fiery volcanic past, the crater withstood its violent eruption and is still perfectly shaped, making it unique. Sangumburi is Korea’s Natural Monuments #263 and is a must see for any Jeju visitor. (cr: Jeju Weekly)
Oh! And even though you need to climb up the ‘hill’, this climb is sooooooo much easier because the slope are much wider and less steep. *heehee*
A little pity that we didn’t managed to see the crater as the weather was a little foggy that day. 😦
Another view from the top of the hill. Looks at those mountains at the back!! (>o<)
Trying out the ‘Art Mode’ function in my camera.
Oh! There’s a swing!
Headed back to the car and we continued our journey.
It is a common sight to see windmills in Korea. These windmills were built to generate energy though. (:
Finally we reached!

Ecoland Theme park was only opened back in 2011. The theme was built in a 1800s theme where one could tour around the Gotjawal forest via Baldwin train. This is a good location for families with little kids as well though. (it looks something like our Kranji Reservoir Park)
Getting ready to hop on the train for a ride? ^^
Along the way~
Love this peaceful nature environment. =D
