[Food Review] Yassin Kampung Mala Creations!

With 3 outlets (Marsiling, Clementi, Admiralty and *Up-coming Bedok*) across the island, Yassin Kampung has recently dished out its first-ever series of Mala dishes for their diners, and I was honoured to be invited to this MALA food tasting session!

If you’re not aware, Yassin Kampung is a MUIS Halal-certified family restaurant with more than 15 years of experience serving Halal Asian Cuisine in Singapore. I bet this is a great news for the spicy lovers of our muslin friends as they could finally give their tongue a searing and numbing spices session with the new menu. [Review] Artisan Tea – Bober Tea

Thanks to the super hot weather crossing into Singapore lately, I believed most of us would be craving for a cup of cold drinks. To be honest, I had no cravings for BBT in the recent years as most flavours looked the same to me.
But hey! If the visual looks pretty, I wouldn’t mind to give it a try~

Good news for peeps staying in the North (and who loved BBT)!!!
A brand new Artisan Tea store had recently stepped foot over at Bishan Mrt and I’m wow-ed by their menu! Continue reading “[Review] Artisan Tea – Bober Tea”

신사소곱창 (SHIN-SA Korean Beef Intestines)

Korean BBQ has been a favourite meal for many ever since the hallyu-wave hit the globe. But hey!
How about trying 곱창(gop-chang), which is BBQ intestines?

곱창 Gop-chang, known as BBQ intestines is a common BBQ dish among the locals.

곱창(gop-chang) was introduced to me back in 2011 by a friend and I do believed it’s getting some fame among the foreigners nowadays as well. My verdict?
Once tried, there’s no turning back. xD
It’s like one of the dish I must have before I end my trip in Korea whenever I’m there.

신사소곱창 (SHIN SA Korean Beef Intestine is one of the popular chain)

Apparently there’s BEEF or PORK version of 곱창. I didn’t get a chance to try the BEEF version till my last few trip.
(Reason: Because my friend was amazed that I didn’t try the beef version? HA!) Continue reading “신사소곱창 (SHIN-SA Korean Beef Intestines)”

[Review] Kosnica Cafe – Handmade Gelato & Waffle

Looking for an ice-cream parlour to satisfy your sweet tooth?

[REVIEW] SBCD Korean Tofu House – Healthy Choice of a Korean Meal

Great news for chaps who loves korean 순두부찌개(Tofu Stew) and working at the CBD district!
SBCD Korean Tofu House has finally set foot in Singapore with their first branch located right over at Tanjong Pagar Centre.(directly above Tanjong Pagar MRT station)

While we all know that BCD stands for Buk Chang Dong, the additional S in-front does meant for Singapore.
SBCD Korean Tofu House specializes in a variety of Korean soft tofu soup.
The Chef mentioned that in order to uphold the kitchen philosophy of serving uplifting and complete meals, every soontofu dish is created with soft and silken tofu which are hand-made freshly on a daily basis where the process of making start as early as 7am.!
(I guess that explains the price for the stew)

While the chinese celebrates Mid-Autumn Festival(aka MoonCake Festival), which is known as Chuseok Festival for the Koreans, which marks one of the major festivals for them!

Back in Korea, the entire family would commemorate this festival by gathering together and celebrate the occasion with prayers and tonnes of food. ^^

Meanwhile, much thanks to Hansang for extending the invitation to have a trial on their ‘Chuseok Menu’ few days ago, which I enjoyed a lot!
